Par for the course

One of the great things about being in a band is having the opportunity to collaborate in the creation of art-product. Today, for instance, a couple of band members are coming over to record their parts for the Auction Winners’ songs–and who knows what sorts of parts they’ll come up with? I don’t! That’s all part of the fun.

Another part of the “fun” is learning to accommodate various personal “quirks.”

Infinite Monkey said he’d be over to record his banjo and dialogue(!) parts “between noon and 1.” Then he called at 12:30 and said, “Hey, I’m running some errands, so I’ll probably be there around 3.”

It’s 3:48 as I type this. Eloise just told me that I was an idiot for expecting him to get here before 4:30.

That’s hardly fair. I made a point not to be more than 5 hours late. Its common courtesy.
